How can I get my puppy used to traveling a lot?

well, her parents are 2 and 3 pounds, she is three quarters maltese and 1 chihuahua, I am fourteen but love to travel, plane flight I could get a ticket stating she will be with me, and me only on the plane, But I only plane flight about 1 or 2 times a year, love to go to the mall and shop, I have a pet purse carrier for her but she crys inside and then every one comes up and says h let me pet and play, any way are there any ways I can help her feel comfortable, how did you train your to be patient and happy when traveling?

Take her on short drives, maybe a mile at first, try that for a few days then gradually go futher, a little at a time, thats how i did both mine, small one & big one.

help, need advice on training a puppy I got for my toddler?

I got a six month old female terrier Yorkie on Saturday for my 4 year old daughter. The puppy is very playful but keeps on grabbing my daughters sleeves and biting her. My daughter has elmo slippers and I took them off her because she couldn’t ev en walk if the puppy wasn’t grabbing on the elmo. I have given the puppy lots of toys but for some reason she keeps jumping on my daughter. At night the puppy is crying because she want to get in my daughters bed and I am not allowing that. My daughter was crying saying the puppy doesn’t like her and an hour later saying she loves the puppy. Any advice is helpful
All answers are extremely helpful. I already had a talk with my husband that we must rehome the puppy. I have clapped and said no firmly and she sits and obeys but it’s a constant NO NO NO because she’s back to jumping and grabbing at my daughter feet or hands. Obviously I knew what I got into once I was in it. I agree to rehome as well!

Either rehome the puppy to someone who is going to take the time to train it properly, or get your butt to a trainer who specializes in positive reinforcement training. The dog is being a dog. They don’t just KNOW what we want from them. We have to learn how they learn and teach them accordingly. This does not involve intimidating or hitting the dog. A dog isn’t a cute little toy or accessory for a kid, it is a huge responsibility and it’s a terrible disservice to the dog if you don’t enroll right away in some basic obedience classes. You’re setting the dog up for failure and your daughter up for dissapointment by not investing in a trainer. On the other hand if you find a good trainer and do the work, you have the opportunity to create a wonderful bond with the dog and teach your daughter how to properly behave with the dog.

puppy with diarrhea and throwing up a little, anything I can give her?

I have a 8 month old Maltese and ever since yesterday morning she has had diarrhea. It’s not very frequent, she’s still going to the bathroom almost as much as she normally does, maybe a little more. But it’s very runny. Also the past two mornings (yesterday and this morning) after going to the bathroom after waking up she’s thrown up too. Once yesterday and then the same again today. Yesterday was alot and mostly food, today she didn’t through up as much and it was mostly liquid. Is there anything I can give her that might help her tummy settle down?
Other than this she seems to be acting pretty normally, running and playing. Even yesterday her eating and drinking habits were about the same as they normally are.

This happened every now and then with our puppy, too. Puppy’s tummies are sensitive. If this keeps up, you should take her to a vet to make sure it’s not anything serious . . . our vet told us we can give our puppy a little bit of Pepto Bismol (probably about 1/2 a teaspoon since yours is so tiny). Also, make sure your puppy is staying hydrated. If she’s not drinking water, give her ice chips to munch on. Lastly, avoid feeding her any treats or human food that might irritate her stomach even more. Stick to her main diet. Or you can also give her some cooked white rice, which will fill her stomach but not irritate it. Good luck!
